This Privacy Policy explains how Imperium Sky Ventures Inc., a Texas corporation doing business as "Corvant.io" ("Corvant," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Corvant platform, website, and related services (the "Service").
Corvant is a software platform that helps importers and customs brokers prepare U.S. tariff refund claims. We collect information to provide that service to you. We are not a data broker. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account and contact information — your name, business/firm name, email address, phone number, role, and similar details you enter when you register or use the Service.
- Documents and customs data you upload — including customs entry documents such as CBP Form 7501 entry summaries, and the data within them (for example, entry numbers, importer-of-record numbers, declared values, classifications, and dates). We refer to this as "Customs Data."
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; see Section 4. We do not store full payment-card numbers ourselves.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, links followed, forms submitted, approximate access times, IP address, and browser/device information, used to operate and secure the Service.
- A theme preference stored in your browser (see Section 6).
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the Service — create and manage your account; extract, organize, and validate data from documents you upload; assemble claim-ready output; and make the connections you request.
- Process subscriptions and billing.
- Communicate with you about your account — including transactional and service messages such as account confirmations, billing notices, security alerts, and notices about your account status (for example, that a demo or trial period is ending). These are service communications, not marketing.
- Support, secure, and improve the Service — respond to requests, prevent fraud and abuse, debug, and maintain reliability and security.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use the personal information you provide through the Service for third-party marketing, behavioral advertising, or to build or sell marketing audiences.
3. AI processing of uploaded documents
To extract and organize data from the documents you upload, we transmit those documents and their contents to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider that performs the extraction on our behalf as a service provider (see Section 5). This processing is for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data for accuracy, as described in our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- With service providers (sub-processors) who process information on our behalf to operate the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. Our current sub-processors include:
- Anthropic — AI document extraction.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — document and file storage.
- Stripe, Inc. — payment and subscription processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Neon — database hosting.
- With professional partners you choose — if you ask us to connect you with an independent professional partner (such as trade counsel, a customs broker, or a factoring firm), we share the information reasonably needed to make that connection, only with your consent. Your relationship with that partner is governed by your own agreement with them.
- For legal and safety reasons — to comply with applicable law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Corvant, our users, or others.
- In a business transfer — if Corvant is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Service providers
Our service providers (sub-processors) are bound by contract to use information only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately. We remain responsible for information processed on our behalf. We may update our sub-processors as our infrastructure changes; the list in Section 4 reflects our current providers.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use only essential cookies and similar storage needed to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and maintain your session, and to remember a display-theme preference in your browser's local storage.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, analytics trackers, or marketing pixels. Because we use only essential technologies and do not sell or share personal information, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; if you do, some features of the Service may not function.
If we add analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide any consent mechanism the law then requires.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information and Customs Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 9; some information may be retained where the law permits or requires.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Corvant does not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
These rights are available to residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and of other states with comparable laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, among others as their laws take effect). You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email privacy@corvant.io. We will verify your identity before responding, and will respond within the time the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, we will explain why; where the law provides a right to appeal, you may appeal by replying to our response.
If you have an account, you can also review and update much of your information directly in your account settings.
10. Data location
Corvant is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
11. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
