Founding brokers - the first ten
The first ten brokers get 100 lines, free.
We are not looking for ten customers. We are looking for ten customs brokers who will put a real book through this, tell us exactly where it falls short, and decide what we build after that. The lines are free because your time is not.
What you get
Three things, and we will not pretend there is a fourth.
100 lines, free.
Enough to work real claims across real clients, not a trial that runs out before you learn anything. Uploading your book and working out what your clients are owed is free for everyone; lines are what you burn when you export a pack to file.
A direct line to the people building it.
Not a support queue. You tell us what broke, what was confusing, and what a client asked you that you could not answer, and it goes into the week's work.
You decide what gets built next.
The next thing on our list is closing the loop, so the result of each filing comes back into Corvant instead of you going to the portal to find out. What that looks like is not settled. The first ten settle it.
What we ask
Three things back.
None of them is a contract, a case study, a logo on our site or a testimonial. If you would rather say nothing publicly about using Corvant, that is fine and it changes nothing about the offer.
Upload a real book, not a sample. The product is only useful against real entries, and so is your feedback.
Tell us when it is wrong. Software has errors and so does ours. We would rather hear it from you in week one than from your client in month three.
Let us ask you questions. Short ones, by email or a call you choose, about how you actually work.
Read this before you apply
What being first actually means.
You will find bugs. You will hit a screen that does not explain itself. Something will be slower than it should be. That is what the first ten of anything is, and pretending otherwise would be the wrong way to start this.
What we will not do is let that reach a filing. Corvant prepares declarations; you file them as broker of record, and you review what you file. Your obligations as a licensed broker, including under 19 CFR Part 111, remain yours -- no software changes that, and we say so in our disclosures.
We take no percentage of a refund and no percentage of what you charge your client, now or later. That is not an introductory term. It is 19 CFR 111.36, and it is how the product is built.
After the 100 lines you buy lines on the published curve like anyone else. There is no subscription behind this offer and nothing here converts into one.
The question brokers ask first
“What stops you going around me to my importers?”
It is the right question and it deserves a straight answer rather than a reassurance. We are building a written commitment that we do not solicit the importers in a broker's book, and that an importer of yours who reaches us on his own is routed back to you as broker of record. The terms of that commitment are not published yet, so we are not going to tell you that you already have it. What we will tell you is that it is what we are building, that the first ten will see it before anyone else, and that nothing in the product today is designed to take your client.
Ten places.
Tell us your filer code and roughly how many importers you file for. That is the whole application.
