The operating system for tariff refund claims. Brokers manage a whole book, file as broker of record, and bill their own way. Importers see what they are owed before they pay anyone.

Corvant

Compliance

Corvant is not a customs broker and not a law firm. It prepares CAPE declarations and does not file them. Only the importer of record or the broker who filed the entry may submit a declaration to CBP. Nothing here is legal, customs or tax advice.

We are never in the money path. CBP pays refunds by ACH directly to the importer of record. Corvant does not receive, hold or disburse refund money, and never shows a recovered amount CBP has not confirmed. Acceptance of a declaration is not a refund.

No percentage on the broker side. A customs broker pays a flat price per line filed. Corvant takes no share of a broker's fee to a client and no share of a refund on the broker side, consistent with 19 CFR 111.36.

Your records stay yours. Entry files are encrypted at rest with AES-256 (Amazon S3 server-side encryption). Customs records carry a five-year recordkeeping obligation under 19 CFR Part 163; retention settings are stated in your agreement.

Read before you sign. Fee terms and any authorization you are asked to sign are published for your own counsel to review before signature, not produced at the point of signing.

CBP has warned about tariff-refund scams. They are right to. Ask anyone offering this service which party files, who touches the refund, and what they take. Our answers are on this page.

No outcome is guaranteed. Corvant does not guarantee that any claim will be accepted, that any refund will be issued or in what amount, or that any deadline we compute is the operative deadline for your entry. Figures shown are estimates from the data you provide. Acceptance of a declaration is not a refund.

Software contains errors, and so do government systems. Corvant is not error-free or uninterrupted. CAPE and ACE can be unavailable, can change without notice, and can return a whole declaration for a single error. Review any output before you file it, and verify every operative deadline against your own records.

The filer carries the responsibility. The importer of record or the filing broker is legally responsible for what is filed. A licensed customs broker's obligations under 19 CFR Part 111 remain the broker's and are not transferred by using software.

Not affiliated with any government agency. Corvant is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of CBP, DHS, Treasury or the U.S. Court of International Trade. CAPE and ACE are CBP systems; we reference them, we do not operate them.
